Laura Greenan is a freelance illustrator based in London who worked for over 10 years as a graphic designer before leaving to create vibrant, joyful and fun pop art style. In 2019 Laura's piece, 'The London Matchgirls' was chosen out of over 1500 entries to be exhibited at The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden as part of their London Stories exhibition with the AOI.
 
Laura said, "My design illustrates the London match girls strike of 1888 when women from a matchstick factory in East London went on strike to protest against terrible working conditions, and then won!"
